I’m Off To The Beach

Time has always been my enemy. There has never been enough of it to satisfy me. I have so many projects, so many books to write, so many things I want to do with my family, but never seem to have the time to do it all.

So I won’t.

Next week, my plan is to work one day while everyone is at play dates, daycare and work. I have decided to follow the advice I have given to others on many occasions: to make the time to do what you enjoy before it is too late. After all, time is passing, children are growing up, and the summer of 2007 is here to enjoy right now and will soon be history. Why not send it into the history books with a smile and some satisfaction?

Next week, I am going to forget about my business for a little while and go to the beach with my children. I can work a couple of hours at night while the kids are asleep or even push work off and do it all the next week. That is why I work from home, isn’t it? I am here because I do not want to leave my sons, so I am going to enjoy them, and this summer, for the week.

There is never enough time. Be wise with the time you have.

What are your plans for the week? Let us know here.

I have to work this week but last week I took Wed, Thur and Fri off just for me. I did nothing but read books and rent movies -- what I wanted to do for a change. It was great. Abby
