Time Wasted

Why is it that surfing the internet can take up so much of my time? I try to just slam through e-mail, deleting the junk, opening only the essential messages, but it never happens that way. Instead I end up clicking on the ad from the craft store offering the 40% coupon, or the Yahoo group for writing moms just to see what’s going on. That leads to checking some of my other groups and opening more non-essential e-mails and suddenly I realize I have one hour left to write my book! Since I only have two full days to work during the week, this is NOT the way to go. Perhaps I should listen to the audio clip someone sent me on organizing my time …
